About the Poseidon

The Entreq Poseidon is a large, high-capacity ground box designed to reduce noise and high-frequency interference in audio systems by providing an attractive sink for unwanted noise away from the signal path. It is effectively three totally independent Olympus Minimus-type grounding cells in one enclosure, giving it three completely separated ground zones. Each zone is connected via a pure solid silver binding post, allowing a wide range of grounding schemes. Typical use cases include grounding each channel of a power amplifier via the negative speaker terminals while simultaneously and independently grounding a pre-amp or DAC chassis/signal ground, or using all three posts to ground multiple components in a system. With its large mineral-based internal mass and three discrete cells, the Poseidon can significantly lower the noise floor, improving perceived clarity, dynamics, detail retrieval and soundstage stability when correctly integrated. The unit is heavy (around 32 kg) and physically large (approximately 140 mm x 430 mm x 450 mm), reflecting its substantial grounding capacity and its role as one of Entreq's higher-end multi-post ground boxes within the range.
