About the C100

The Energy C-100 is a high-value bookshelf speaker designed for both music and home theater applications. It features a 5.5-inch composite fiberglass woofer and a 1-inch chambered aluminum dome tweeter, providing a flat on-axis frequency response from 55Hz to 20kHz ±3 dB. The speaker is rear-vented with a bass reflex system to enhance low-frequency output down to a usable bass response of 50 Hz (-10 dB anechoic). It has a nominal impedance of 8 ohms (minimum 4 ohms) and a sensitivity of 87 dB anechoic, rising to 90 dB in typical room conditions, making it easy to drive with amplifiers up to 110 watts. The enclosure is made of braced MDF for rigidity and low resonance, finished in a high-quality black ash veneer with a piano gloss front baffle. The C-100 is magnetically shielded for placement near TVs and includes rubber bumpers and mounting options for bookshelf, stand, or wall installation. Its design emphasizes low distortion, wide and constant dispersion, and sonic accuracy, making it suitable for detailed and natural sound reproduction in various listening environments.
