About the Superclock 4
The Superclock 4 is an Empirical Audio low-jitter clock upgrade used with compatible digital-audio products, including the Pace-Car USB Reclocker and Off-Ramp converters. In the Pace-Car, two clocks are required to cover all supported sample rates: one for 44.1, 88.2, and 176.4 kHz, and another for 96 and 192 kHz. It is an internal upgrade component rather than a standalone external clock, and its purpose is to improve the timing stability of the host digital device.
