It serves as a DAC, preamp, and control center with a fully balanced, fully differential analog signal path from DAC chips to XLR outputs and for analog inputs. Key highlights include a high-performance USB input, HDMI-ARC for TV audio, a current-feedback headphone amplifier, machined aluminum remote control, and a dimmable blue OLED display showing volume, input, sample rate, and format. The DAC employs twin ESS ES9038Q2M SABRE32 Reference chips with 7 oversampling filters. Analog sources maintain a fully analog path via a digitally controlled NJW1195A ladder network volume control. It offers exceptional clarity, low distortion, dynamic range, and is designed for use in high-end systems while remaining accessible.
