The Emotiva Airmotiv XC1 is a high-performance, versatile three-way center channel or LCR speaker designed for home theater and audiophile systems. It features a 25mm x 32mm Airmotiv folded ribbon tweeter with Neo magnet system for superior high-frequency clarity, a 4.5-inch woven cone midrange driver with aluminum voice coil, milled aluminum phase plug, copper shorting ring, and NBR surround, and dual 5.25-inch woven cone woofers with aluminum voice coil, long throw motor, progressive rate spider, copper shorting ring, and NBR surround. The cabinet is constructed from heavily braced, acoustically inert HDF with a painted HDF baffle, PVC laminated enclosure, 25mm thick baffle, double window bracing, extensive damping, and an asymmetric midrange sub-enclosure. It is rear-ported for optimized bass response and includes a rotatable tweeter for horizontal or vertical placement. Additional features include dual 5-way binding posts for bi-amping or bi-wiring, a removable magnetically attached grille, and contoured trim rings for enhanced aesthetics and sound isolation. Ideal for smaller spaces, it matches seamlessly with other Airmotiv speakers, delivering clear dialogue, dynamic sound, and precise imaging when paired with a subwoofer for deep bass.
