The Emotiva XPA-7 Gen 3 is a high-performance 7-channel power amplifier designed for home theater and audiophile applications. It features seven high-powered single-channel modules, each capable of delivering 300 watts RMS per channel at 8 Ohms with one channel driven, and 200 watts RMS per channel when all seven channels are driven. The amplifier uses a regulated Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) and combines Class A/B and Class H technologies to provide a balance of power, quality, and efficiency. It supports both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs for system flexibility and is designed and built in the USA to ensure high quality and consistency. The modular construction allows for future upgrades, including adding channels or higher quality modules by returning the unit to Emotiva's US base. Protection features include safeguards against excessive temperature, shorted speaker connections, and ground faults. The amplifier is ideal for powering full 7.1 channel home theater systems, bi-amped front speakers in 5.1 setups, or 7 main channels in Atmos or DTS:X systems with height speakers.
