The Emotiva XPA-3 Gen3 is a high-performance three-channel power amplifier featuring three High-Powered Single Channel Modules. It delivers 300 watts RMS per channel into 8 Ohms with one channel driven, 550 watts RMS per channel into 4 Ohms with one channel driven, and 275 watts RMS per channel into 8 Ohms when all three channels are driven simultaneously. The amplifier uses a fully modular design with a high-efficiency Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) and combines Class A/B output stages with an optimized Class H power supply topology for improved efficiency and sound quality. It offers a broad frequency response from 5 Hz to 80 kHz, very low distortion (<0.005% THD+N at 100 watts, 1 kHz, 8 Ohms), and a high signal-to-noise ratio (>117 dB at rated power). The XPA-3 supports balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs, has a damping factor greater than 500, and features comprehensive audiophile-grade protection mechanisms. Its robust build includes gold-plated speaker outputs and a resettable circuit breaker. Dimensions are approximately 17" W x 8" H x 19" D, weighing about 35.5 lbs.
