The Emotiva BasX PT2 is a versatile stereo preamplifier featuring a wide range of inputs including four analog line-level inputs, a phono preamp compatible with both moving magnet and moving coil cartridges, and multiple digital inputs such as USB, coaxial, and optical supporting high-resolution audio up to 24bit/192kHz. It includes a built-in high sensitivity FM tuner with 15 presets and a Mono mode for weak stations. The PT2 supports Bluetooth 5 with AptX, AptX HD, and AAC codecs for wireless streaming. It offers a pure analog signal path for analog inputs, with volume and tone control in the analog domain, preserving the unique sound of vinyl and FM sources. The device has configurable bass management with active analog high-pass and low-pass filters, allowing integration with powered subwoofers for 2.1 channel systems. Outputs include line-level main outputs, a summed subwoofer output, and a high-performance headphone output. The PT2 is controlled via front panel or included infrared remote, with a bright blue VFD display.
