About the MA3

The Meitner Audio MA3 is a groundbreaking integrated D/A converter that combines Ed Meitner's proven world-class sound techniques from the EMM Labs DA2 V2 and DV2 converters with network audio streaming functions. It employs fully discrete single-bit, 16xDSD MDAC2™ D-to-A converters coupled with proprietary MDAT2™ DSP technology that performs real-time transient detection and up-conversion of all incoming audio. The MA3 features VControl™ volume control that maintains input signal without re-quantization, allowing complete transparency at any volume setting with no loss of audio resolution. It includes USB galvanic isolation, MFAST™ asynchronous jitter removal technology, and a custom MCLK2™ clock for superior digital audio performance. The built-in network streamer supports high-resolution streaming services including TIDAL, QOBUZ, SPOTIFY, and DEEZER, plus UPnP/DLNA for NAS playback and Roon Ready functionality. Designed and manufactured in Canada, the MA3 can be connected directly to amplifiers and speakers, functioning as a complete digital hub for high-end audio systems. It is positioned as a trickle-down product offering similar core technology to EMM Labs' reference converters at a significantly lower price point.
