The EMM Labs TX2 SE CD/SACD Transport is a premium digital disc player supporting Redbook CD and stereo SACD formats. It is designed as a companion to EMM Labs' high-quality DACs such as the DA2 and DAC2X. The TX2 employs proprietary MDAT2 up-sampling and digital audio conditioning algorithms to minimize jitter and optimize data transfer via the EMM OptiLink fiber optical connection. Its robust machined aluminum chassis incorporates vibration damping and a charge management system to stabilize the electrical environment for sensitive audio circuits. The transport outputs digital audio via AES/EBU (XLR) and OptiLink, and supports system control via RS-232 and USB for firmware upgrades. It features a power factor corrected power supply factory set for various voltages and consumes 40W. The TX2 is acclaimed for its exceptional resolution, dynamic range, and sonic purity, delivering a rich, detailed, and natural soundstage with precise instrument placement and smooth midrange. It is a limited edition product with a weight of 17 kg and dimensions of 438 x 400 x 161 mm. The package typically includes the transport, remote control, power cable, optical cable, and manual.
