About the MTRS

The EMM Labs MTRS is a high-performance 400W Stereo Class A/B solid-state amplifier featuring Ed Meitner's completely redesigned high current Meitner Power Driver. It can drive the most severe and complex speaker loads, stable down to 1 ohm, without overall feedback. The amplifier incorporates a proprietary power system, fully discrete circuits, fully balanced audio paths throughout, custom ceramic PCB boards, and real-time protection to prevent speaker and amplifier damage. It offers a voltage gain of 30dB, frequency response from 0.1Hz to 200kHz at full rated power, signal-to-noise ratio greater than 120dB (A weighted), and extremely low distortion (THD+N less than 0.01% at full rated power). The MTRS is designed and built in Canada with a precision CNC finish available in silver and black, weighing 82 kg with dimensions 544 x 584 x 297 mm. It supports balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs and features Furutech binding posts for outputs. The amplifier is capable of delivering 330W RMS continuous power into 4 ohms and dynamic power up to 400W per channel, with a damping factor greater than 200 and a slew rate exceeding 100 V/μS. It is engineered for audiophiles demanding the best stereo audio reproduction with minimal distortion and wide bandwidth.
