The ELAC Debut S12EQ is a 12-inch powered subwoofer designed by Andrew Jones as part of ELAC's Debut line, offering high performance at an affordable price. It features a 12" high-excursion doped-paper cone woofer and a 12" passive radiator in a bass reflex cabinet. The subwoofer is powered by a high-efficiency built-in BASH amplifier delivering 500 watts continuous power and 1,000 watts dynamic power. It includes a Bluetooth calibration feature controlled via a free ELAC app on iOS or Android devices, allowing auto EQ room calibration using the device's built-in microphone. The frequency response ranges from 25 to 150 Hz, with a continuously variable low-pass crossover from 40 to 150 Hz and phase control. The subwoofer has no physical controls and requires a smartphone or tablet for wireless control. It measures 17-1/16" W x 18-1/8" H x 18-3/8" D and weighs 49.1 lbs. The finish is black brushed vinyl. The package includes the subwoofer, a 9' AC power cord, spikes, hex nuts, and operating instructions. It comes with a 3-year speaker warranty and 1-year amplifier warranty.
