Einstein Audio The Poweramp is a German stereo power amplifier using a fully balanced, dual-mono circuit architecture described by Einstein as Pure Class A / Balanced Double Single-Ended Circeltron Architecture. Its input stage uses PCC88 double-triode tubes, while the high-bias-current output stage is designed for low crossover distortion, high linearity, wide bandwidth, and strong drive capability. The amplifier provides conventional single-ended RCA and balanced XLR inputs, with loudspeaker outputs for both channels. Published specifications vary slightly by revision or source: the official manual lists 98 dB or better signal-to-noise ratio, over 90 dB channel separation, 90 W per channel into 8 ohms and 130 W into 4 ohms, while other manufacturer-linked and dealer sources list over 100 dB signal-to-noise ratio, 85 dB or better channel separation, and 140 W into 4 ohms. Dimensions and weight are also reported as either 205 x 430 x 410 mm and 23 kg in the official manual, or approximately 170 x 430 x 410 mm and 21 kg in earlier published listings. The manufacturer’s current website and manual archive still list The Poweramp, so it should not be classified as definitively discontinued; however, production availability is not independently confirmed.
