The Einstein Audio The Pure is a modular, closed-box, semi-active three-way floorstanding loudspeaker introduced in 2016. It combines a directly operated Fostex 150 mm wide-range/midrange driver, a Fostex 20 mm Alnico horn supertweeter, and a separate closed active bass module using a 260 mm Peerless paper-cone woofer. The bass section has its own adjustable Class-D/ICEpower amplification and analogue active crossover/equalization, while the passive amplifier drives the midrange/high-frequency module. It is designed around an easy-to-drive nominal 8-ohm load and includes a heavy, precisely tilted dedicated stand. Published specifications differ slightly among period sources; the later manufacturer-associated listing states 20 Hz–35 kHz and 110 kg, while earlier published material states 18 Hz–30 kHz and 100 kg per speaker including stand.
