The Echo Busters Double Buster MKII is a decorative acoustic treatment panel that provides both diffusion and absorption, targeting mid-to-high frequencies. It features a wood frame with a corrugated core designed to scatter sound waves, producing a 'disappearing walls' effect that opens up the soundstage and adds dimension to the audio experience. The panel also absorbs low frequencies while reflecting higher frequencies, creating a hemispherical radiation pattern. It is available in wall-hanging or floorstanding versions with supplied feet. Standard sizes range from 4 to 6 feet in height and 12 to 24 inches in width, with a depth of 3 inches. The panels come in standard fabric finishes including black, white, dark gray, light gray, and quartz, with custom fabrics available for a surcharge. The Double Buster is used to improve imaging and soundstage integrity in listening rooms by controlling reflections and enhancing diffusion.
