About the Q-10B Tactile Transducers
The Earthquake Sound Q10B tactile transducer is engineered to reproduce the lowest frequencies in music and movies with precision and power. It delivers tactile performance down to 5Hz, combining quick, articulated low-frequency response with maximum tactile effect. The device features a patented motor system with ultra high-gauss neodymium magnets and a military-grade flat wire aluminum voice coil capable of 2 inches (50mm) excursion at 22Hz. It can handle up to 1000 watts of power, though 300 watts is sufficient for private use. The Q10B is nearly indestructible and maintenance-free, with only one moving part and a rugged cast aluminum heat sink for thermal protection. It includes universal mounting brackets and hardware, and optional torque amplification brackets are available. The transducer is ideal for home theater chairs, gaming chairs, platforms, and professional environments, providing tactile bass effects that can replace multiple traditional shakers or hydraulic platforms. It integrates seamlessly with existing subwoofers and amplifiers via the LFE output, enhancing the low-frequency experience without disturbing surroundings.
