About the Teak

The E-MU Teak is a circumaural, closed-back over-ear headphone featuring handcrafted teak wood housings and 50 mm neodymium drivers with ultra-thin bio-cellulose diaphragms. It has a lightweight wood, metal, and leather construction, an adjustable leather-covered headband, and removable cables. Published specifications include a 5 Hz–45 kHz frequency range, 25-ohm impedance, 106 dB sensitivity, and a 2.5 mm headphone-side connector. The supplied cable is a 1.5 m nylon-braided cable with gold-plated connectors. Its teak housings give each pair a distinctive natural-wood appearance, while the low impedance and high sensitivity make it suitable for use with a wide range of headphone amplifiers and portable sources.
