The DRT XV-1s is part of Dynavector's flagship range, offering significant improvements over its predecessors. It incorporates 8 small Alnico magnets and a Flux damper to stabilize the magnetic field, providing a homogeneous and linear magnetic design. The cartridge uses a 6mm length solid boron cantilever and a PF Line contact stylus tip. African ebony wood is used to stabilize the magnets, contributing to a balanced sound character. It is suitable for most phono stages or step-up transformers due to its 6 ohms impedance.
