About the 20XL

The Dynavector 20XL is a high-quality low output moving coil cartridge with a solid aluminum alloy body and rigid magnet construction. It features a 6mm hard aluminum pipe cantilever with a Micro Ridge Nude diamond stylus. The cartridge incorporates magnetic flux damping and softened magnetism with powerful neodymium magnets to reduce distortion. It delivers an output voltage of 0.3 mV at 1 kHz and 5 cm/sec, making it ideal for most moving coil phono stages. The frequency response ranges from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz (±1 dB), with channel separation of 25 dB and channel balance of 1.0 dB at 1 kHz. Compliance is 12 mm/N, and the recommended tracking force is between 1.8 and 2.2 grams. Impedance is 150 ohms / 5 ohms, with a recommended load impedance greater than 1,000 ohms / 30 ohms.
