About the Focus 380

The Dynaudio Focus 380 is the flagship model of the Focus series, designed as a floorstanding loudspeaker ideal for larger rooms. It features two extra-large 20 cm woofers with ultra-rigid die-cast aluminum baskets operating in tandem within a large cabinet volume to ensure deep bass extension and excellent low frequency performance. The mid/woofer and woofer cones use proprietary MSP material for seamless sonic integration, while the high frequencies are reproduced by Dynaudio's finest Esotar² soft dome tweeter. The speaker offers a rich detail, high resolution, smooth highs, open and precise midrange, and powerful, rock-solid bass and low bass registers. It is suitable for any music style and room size. The Focus 380 is available in four real-wood veneer finishes (Maple, Walnut, Rosewood, Black Ash) and two gloss lacquer finishes (White piano and Black piano). Technical specifications include a sensitivity of 88 dB, IEC power handling of 300 W, rated impedance of 4 ohms, frequency response from 35 Hz to 23 kHz (+/- 3 dB), and a 3-way bass reflex design with rear porting and crossover frequencies at 460 Hz and 2600 Hz. The model is discontinued but remains a highly regarded loudspeaker for home use.
