The Contour S C center speaker by Dynaudio is engineered to deliver a powerful and natural sonic experience, ideal for multi-channel home theater setups. It features two 5.85" Magnesium Silicate Polymer (MSP) mid/woofers with 2.9" voice coils and a 1.1" soft-dome Esotec tweeter with a pure aluminum voice coil and backwave absorption chamber. The drivers are mounted on a rigid metal baffle and fine-tuned with a high-quality crossover using hand-selected components for optimal sonic integration with other Contour speakers. The cabinet is extensively braced and damped to minimize resonance, and the speaker is bass-reflex with rear ports. The Contour S C offers selectable angle dispersion with an optional Center Base stand to direct sound upwards or downwards, facilitating ideal placement above or below video displays. It is available in real wood veneers including maple, cherry, rosewood, and black ash, with custom finishes on request. This speaker is praised for its dynamic range, clarity, and ability to reproduce intense movie sound effects and multi-channel music recordings, providing a natural and immersive listening experience.
