The Dynaudio Contour 25c center channel speaker delivers exceptional clarity and life-like sound reproduction, crucial for multichannel audio setups where the center channel carries up to 70% of the audio. It features two 18cm MSP woofers with lightweight aluminum voice coils and a 28mm Esotar2 soft-dome tweeter with Hexis resonance-defeating inner dome and a larger rear chamber to reduce distortion and flatten frequency response. The speaker uses a 2.5-way crossover design with high-quality Mundorf capacitors and a 2nd order crossover topology at frequencies of 300 Hz and 2200 Hz. The cabinet is bass reflex rear ported, crafted with meticulous Dynaudio craftsmanship involving 3 weeks of finishing, 11 lacquer stages, and 16 sanding steps to minimize cabinet resonance and high-frequency diffraction. It has a sensitivity of 87 dB (2.83V/1m), an impedance of 4 Ohms, and an IEC power handling of 300W. Dimensions are approximately 29.5 x 8.5 x 15.6 inches (W x H x D) and it weighs 23.3 kg.
