The Dynaudio Confidence C1 Platinum is a compact, high-performance bookshelf speaker that embodies the refinement and tonal balance of the larger Confidence series models. It features the advanced Esotar2 tweeter with precision coating and a neodymium double magnet, paired with a 17 cm magnesium silicate polymer (MSP) mid/bass woofer with an aluminium voice coil and Kapton former. The speaker uses a high-quality first-order crossover with select components designed for slightly upward sound radiation, reducing floor reflections and enhancing imaging and sound staging. The cabinet is acoustically shaped with a machined aluminium baffle and glass-blasted tweeter plate, finished with select real wood veneers or piano lacquer in finishes such as Mocca, Bordeaux, Rosewood, and Piano Black. The C1 Platinum can be combined with the aluminium Stand 6 for optimal performance and design synergy. It is known for delivering a feeling of being in the room with musicians, with smooth tonal balance and detailed resolution, suitable for small to midsize rooms.
