The Duelund Coherent Audio Copper VSF Capacitors are precision capacitors made especially for loudspeaker crossovers and signal applications in amplifiers and pre-amplifiers. They use the Virtual Stack Foil (VSF) principle, involving aluminium, copper, or silver foil and high-density paper soaked in pure mineral wax and treated with natural lacquers, resulting in a green product with exceptional sonic qualities. The copper VSF capacitors are rated at 200 Volts DC for speaker use (VSFCU, 0.1uF to 40uF) and 400 Volts DC for signal use (VSFDCCU, 0.047uF to 2.2uF). They feature very low inductance and a flat construction that reduces internal resonances, enabling natural, clear, and detailed sound reproduction with excellent imaging and instrument separation. The lead connected to the outer foil is marked with a 'D' and should be connected to the signal output. These capacitors are highly regarded for their natural tonal balance, harmonic authenticity, and dynamic performance, making them a must-have for serious audiophiles.
