About the BL1 II

The DH Labs Silver Sonic BL-1 Series II is a high-end audiophile-grade interconnect cable that combines exceptional signal transmission, quality, and reliability at an accessible price point. Made in the USA, it features slow-drawn oxygen-free copper conductors heavily coated with pure silver (10% coating thickness) for optimal synergy. The cable is fully balanced and designed for use with both RCA and XLR connectors. It is 100% shielded with a 2-layer shield (100% aluminum Mylar and heavy braid) for complete immunity to noise and can operate in close proximity to digital equipment without noise pickup. The conductors are insulated with a special FEP/Teflon copolymer dielectric and feature vibration-damping spacers and tensioned wrap to eliminate resonances and microphonic effects. Each connector is meticulously hand-soldered with special silver-bearing solder by trained craftspeople. The cable delivers transparent sound with precise imaging and a large, deep soundstage from the deepest bass to the highest treble.
