About the Original d'Atelier
The Devialet Original d'Atelier is a limited edition integrated amplifier, with only 100 units ever produced. It features a 900 chassis carved from a single aluminum block with a hand-polished Copper Gold finish and a copper-coated plate signed by Devialet founder Pierre-Emmanuel Calmel. This amplifier uses Devialet's patented ADH (Analogue Digital Hybrid) technology, combining Class A and Class D amplification for superior sound quality and efficiency. It delivers 900 watts per amplifier in a compact casing, setting a world record for power density. The unit supports dual mono or stereo configurations and includes SAM (Speaker Active Matching) technology for speaker matching. Inputs are configurable and include analogue (RCA), digital, optical (Toslink and 3.5mm), WiFi, USB (B), and Ethernet. It also has a phono input compatible with MM or MC cartridges, with customizable pre-loaded configurations. Streaming is supported via Devialet Air for PC or Mac, and the amplifier can be controlled through an app. The Original d'Atelier features upgraded Class D and Class A boards, improved power supply, and enhanced thermal dissipation for optimal performance. It is made in France and comes with original accessories including remote control, cables, and user guide. This model is no longer in production and was highly praised for its natural, clean, and refined sound.
