About the Mono per 400

The Devialet Dual Mono per 400 consists of two Devialet 200 units combined in a bridge configuration to deliver 400 watts per channel at 6 ohms. It integrates multiple functions including preamplifier, amplifier, DAC, streamer, and phono stage into a single slim chassis. The system features Devialet's patented Analog Digital Hybrid (ADH) amplification technology, combining Class A and Class D amplification for exceptional sound quality with extremely low total harmonic distortion (THD) of 0.00025% and a signal-to-noise ratio of 133 dB. All inputs are processed digitally, with analog signals converted via an onboard ADC. The amplifier supports digital inputs up to 24-bit/192kHz, upsampled to 384kHz, and includes a phono input with adjustable gain and cartridge loading. The two units operate in a Master/Companion configuration linked by a Crystal Cable digital interconnect. Connectivity options include Ethernet, Wi-Fi via Devialet Air app, asynchronous USB, coaxial, XLR, TosLink, and mini-TosLink inputs. Outputs include digital coaxial for vinyl digitization, analog stereo for headphones, and mono for subwoofer connection. The amplifier measures approximately 15" x 15" x 1.6" and weighs about 5.9 kg per module. It is highly regarded for its technical sophistication, flexibility, and musical performance.
