About the PreMATE Plus

The DEQX PreMATE Plus is an integrated preamp processor designed for high-end audio systems, combining speaker calibration, room correction, and preamplifier functions. It features linear phase speaker and room calibration, subwoofer calibration and integration, and network audio connectivity including Roon Ready and DLNA support. The unit includes transparent analog inputs (RCA and balanced XLR), multiple digital inputs (TOSLINK optical, SPDIF RCA and BNC, balanced AES/EBU, asynchronous USB), and outputs for speakers and subwoofers. It uses an ESS Sabre Pro ADC and DAC with ultra-low noise power supplies delivering very low distortion (-115 dB THD+N). The PreMATE Plus employs a powerful A8 ARM 1GHz CPU and a 4.3-inch 24-bit LCD touchscreen for control and configuration. It supports precise timing alignment between speakers and subwoofers and can act as a master controller for other DEQX units in multichannel setups. The product includes a calibrated measurement microphone and DEQXpert system setup and calibration session. It is designed to improve sound quality by correcting speaker distortion and compensating for room acoustics, restoring timing, phase, and amplitude accuracy for a more natural and accurate listening experience. The PreMATE Plus is no longer in production but remains supported by DEQX.
