The Denon HEOS Drive HS2 is a professional-grade, rack-mountable network multi-room amplifier designed for custom integration specialists. It delivers whole-home audio distribution across 4 independent HEOS zones in a compact 2U chassis. The amplifier features 8 channels of Class D digital amplification rated at 60 watts per channel, with the ability to bridge channels for up to 130 watts of single-channel output. It supports high-resolution audio playback and includes Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital+ decoding with stereo downmixing. The unit offers flexible connectivity with analog RCA inputs, dual optical (Toslink) and coaxial (SPDIF) digital inputs, dual Ethernet ports for network connectivity, and four USB ports for external storage. Built-in DSP features include selectable high-pass and low-pass filters with adjustable crossover points for full-range, subwoofer, or satellite speaker configurations. The chassis includes quiet fan cooling for reliability, 4-way binding post speaker outputs compatible with banana plugs, and four 12V trigger outputs for system integration and automation. Compatible with Amazon Alexa voice control and third-party control systems.
