The Denon POA-A1HDCI is a flagship 10-channel power amplifier weighing approximately 132 pounds, designed to deliver 150 watts per channel into 8 ohms with less than 0.05% total harmonic distortion. It features fully discrete power amplifier assemblies and dedicated DC power supplies for each channel to minimize interference. The amplifier supports multiple configurations including 7.1 home theater setups, multi-zone audio, bi-amping, bi-wiring, and bridged modes. It includes balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs with selectable input per channel, and A/B speaker outputs for flexible wiring options. The POA-A1HDCI uses four main power transformers with separate coil windings and eight individual transformers for discrete circuits, along with high-current DC rectifiers and large filter capacitors totaling 200,000uF for stable performance even with low impedance loads.
