The Definitive Technology Mythos One is a high-performance floor-standing speaker with a passive radiator enclosure made from aircraft-grade extruded aluminum finished in black. It features a D'Appolito array consisting of two 5.25-inch midrange drivers surrounding a 1-inch pure aluminum dome tweeter. Additionally, it has two 5.25-inch high-definition bass drivers pressure-coupled to two 5.25-inch planar low-bass radiators, providing exceptional bass extension and power comparable to a single 8-inch conventional woofer. The drivers use die-cast aluminum baskets, mono-polymer cones, and optimized magnet structures for low distortion and life-like sound. The speaker employs a Linkwitz-Riley crossover network for linear phase and frequency response, blending drivers seamlessly. It has a frequency response of 20 Hz to 30 kHz, sensitivity of 92 dB, and impedance of 8 ohms, handling up to 250 watts. The Mythos One requires a break-in period of 20-40 hours to reach full performance capability. Dimensions are approximately 48.4 inches high, 10 inches wide, and 9.8 inches deep, weighing 37 lbs.
