The Definitive Technology CLR-2002 is a 3-way center channel speaker featuring two 5-1/4 inch high-definition bass/midrange drivers with cast magnesium baskets and one 1-inch pure aluminum dome tweeter. It uses a non-resonant monocoque cabinet with piano-gloss black lacquer end-caps and wraparound grille cloth styling. The speaker is video-shielded for safe placement next to any TV and designed to deliver smooth extended high frequency response up to 30 kHz, reduced distortion, and crystal clear clarity. It employs sophisticated Linkwitz-Riley crossover networks for phase coherence and dynamic integrity, making it ideal for home theater dialogue and on-screen action. The cabinet is constructed with thick, dense medite with foam damping pads and internal bracing to eliminate resonance. It supports bi-wiring with two sets of 5-way binding posts and handles amplifier power from 20 to 250 watts. The speaker is made in the USA and comes with a 5-year parts and labor warranty.
