The Decware SE34I.3, also known as 'Rachael', is a hand-built, single-ended triode (SET) integrated amplifier designed for audiophiles seeking a minimalist, high-fidelity experience. It uses easy-to-find EL34/6CA7 output tubes and features tube rectification, proprietary Decware transformers, and a self-biasing circuit with a bias meter for each output tube. The amplifier is constructed with the absolute minimum number of parts and solder nodes—between input and output jacks, there is only one capacitor, two resistors, and premium output transformers made from US gain-oriented silicon steel. The SE34I.3 is available in several configurations, including versions with single or dual volume controls and multiple inputs. It is designed to work best with efficient speakers (ideally 94dB or higher), but can drive some speakers as low as 90dB to satisfying levels in average rooms.
