The DBX 200 Program Route Selector is designed to simplify complex Hi-Fi setups by enabling the connection and use of multiple tape decks, sound processors, and noise reduction units through a single tape-monitor loop on a preamp, receiver, or integrated amplifier. It allows switching of sound processors to modify the signal before recording, enabling customized tape recordings, and further processing can be applied during playback. The device operates without adding noise or distortion as it does not require external power, simply connecting the components together. It supports quick and precise routing of audio signals for listening or recording purposes.
