The Dayton Audio SUB-800 8" powered subwoofer system is designed to add deep, impactful bass to home theater systems. It features a bottom-firing, flared port bass reflex design that reduces port noise and enhances bass response. The subwoofer uses a heavy-duty, long-throw 8" woofer capable of delivering house-shaking power with an 80 watt RMS amplifier. It includes high and low level inputs, high level outputs, a phase switch, independent volume control, an auto on/off switch activated by input signal, and a continuously variable 12 dB/octave low pass crossover from 40 Hz to 140 Hz. The enclosure is compact with dimensions of 12-3/4" H x 12-3/16" W x 14-3/8" D and finished in unobtrusive black vinyl to blend with any decor. It is perfect for small home theaters or listening rooms and offers selectable auto-on mode to save energy. The subwoofer has a frequency response of 40-140 Hz and operates on 120 VAC, 60 Hz power.
