The Dayens Ecstasy III is an integrated amplifier that succeeds the Ecstasy II and surpasses other Dayens models like Ampino and Menuetto. It features a carefully designed circuit and layout with high-quality, reliable components focused on achieving a natural, sweet, and mellow sound signature. It uses two pairs of Japanese bipolar output transistors per channel, a 400VA toroidal transformer, German-made audio-grade power electrolytic capacitors, and Mundorf MCap Supreme input capacitors. The amplifier includes a motorized Alps RK27MC Blue Velvet potentiometer with remote volume control. It offers four inputs and a frequency response from 1Hz to 200kHz. The Ecstasy III delivers 150W per channel at 4 ohms and 100W per channel at 8 ohms, with a signal-to-noise ratio greater than 92 dB. It weighs approximately 14 kg (31 lbs) and measures 460 x 110 x 380 mm (18.5 x 4.3 x 15 inches).
