About the DiD

The Daedalus Audio DiD (Daedalus Isolation Devices) are vibration-isolation footers for electronic audio components. They combine highly polished billet aluminum, solid cherry, brass, and steel bearings; the dissimilar materials are intended to dissipate resonance, while the bearings help isolate components from vibration. They are designed for equipment such as preamplifiers, DACs, CD players, and digital music players. The DiD is distinct from the DiD-SPK, which is the speaker-oriented version and does not use bearings.
