The D-Sonic M3a-Custom is a configurable Class-D power-amplifier platform rather than one fixed amplifier model. D-Sonic states that custom M3a units can be built with one to seven channels and with approximately 400 W to 1,500 W per channel, allowing channel count and power allocation to be specified for the installation. The platform uses proprietary UMAC Class-D power stages based on Pascal X-PRO modules, with channels implemented as true-mono amplifier sections that share the AC supply and grounding. D-Sonic describes the series as over 88% efficient, fanless, and without external heatsinks; it uses mil-spec silver/Teflon signal-output wiring and medical-grade filtering for RFI/EMI reduction. For models through seven channels, both balanced and unbalanced inputs are provided; 8–11-channel models are balanced/XLR only.
