About the 40

The Cyrus 40 AMP is a stereo integrated amplifier delivering 100 watts per channel into 6 ohms, or 113 watts per channel when used with the optional 40 PSU. It combines four analogue line inputs and a moving-magnet phono input with two coaxial digital inputs, optical, asynchronous USB-B, and HDMI eARC. Its digital section uses an ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M 32-bit DAC, supporting PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz via USB, PCM up to 24-bit/192kHz over S/PDIF, and DSD up to DSD256 via USB. Outputs include a preamplifier output, fixed output, headphone output, and speaker outputs. The amplifier is housed in Cyrus’s 40-series aluminum chassis and is compatible with the external 40 PSU for additional power-supply capacity and output.
