The CS Port TAT1M2 is a premium turntable designed for audiophiles seeking exceptional sound quality and mechanical precision. It features a heavy granite base (40 kg) and a brass platter (28 kg) that floats on an air film to suppress vibrations and wobble, ensuring stable rotation and minimal interference with audio signals. The turntable employs a unique servo-less XFD drive system, eliminating servo noise by using an open control system with a DC coreless motor and filament drive, providing rotation with high moment of inertia. The XFD system is based on a crystal oscillator with high-frequency accuracy, delivering a stable and precise voltage to the motor. The TAT1M2 supports expandability with a 2-arm configuration, allowing the installation of the AFU1-2 linear arm or other swing arms via arm attachments (sold separately). It requires an air supply and various attachments for operation. Dimensions of the base are 358W x 120H x 358D mm, and the brass platter measures φ344 x 43H mm. The design philosophy follows the previous models with a granite base, air float, and servo-less drive, but upgrades the platter material from stainless steel to brass for enhanced performance.
