About the SA3000

The Counterpoint SA-3000 is a hybrid stereo preamplifier with tube-based line and phono circuitry and solid-state support circuitry. Its phono section accommodates both moving-magnet (MM) and moving-coil (MC) cartridges. The unit uses a separate power-supply chassis and measures approximately 480 × 113 × 322 mm (18.9 × 4.4 × 12.7 in), weighing about 22 lb (10 kg). It is a discontinued vintage model.
