The Core Audio Designs AD1 Diffusor is part of the Core AD Series Diffusors, which are based on the Schroeder Quadratic Residue Diffusor (QRD) principle. These diffusors scatter sound waves in a controlled pattern to reduce direct reflections and improve the soundstage in listening rooms. Constructed from premium hardwoods with precise CNC milling, the AD1 combines scientific acoustic design with artistic craftsmanship. The diffusor does not absorb or reflect sound in a traditional manner but diffuses it to create a more natural and spacious listening environment. Core Audio Designs uses FSC & CARB certified Apple-Ply hardwood laminates and ensures tight tolerances in manufacturing for optimal performance.
