About the Criterion
The Continuum Criterion turntable is engineered to play music with higher fidelity than most systems, offering a vacuum record hold-down system with 'Stealth Mode Operation' for quiet and effective LP clamping. It supports 33.3, 45, and 78 RPM speeds with fine pitch adjustment. The chassis is made from magnesium alloy, heavily dampened to reduce resonance, and includes a carbon fiber plate and suspended armboard. The Copperhead tonearm features sapphire vee jewel bearings, adjustable azimuth and VTA, and uses copper litz wiring for signal leads. The motor is electronically controlled with DSP for smooth power delivery and low noise, contributing to extraordinary dynamic range, clarity, and rhythm. The Criterion is noted for its clarity, low noise, and musical detail retrieval, making it a highly recommended audiophile turntable system.
