About the TEA2

The TEA2 triode equalization amplifier is a vacuum-tube phono stage designed for extraordinary musical accuracy at a moderate price. It features two cascaded single-ended triode amplifiers in a zero-feedback design to eliminate temporal inaccuracies. RIAA equalization is achieved by a precision passive network with 1% tolerance parts, ensuring tonal accuracy. A high-current MOSFET buffer stage provides low output impedance below 200 ohms. The TEA2 uses discrete regulated power supplies to isolate amplifier stages from AC line noise and each other, maintaining audio purity. It is available in high-gain (55 dB) and low-gain (40 dB) versions to suit a wide range of phono cartridges, with switch-selectable resistive loading for fine-tuning. The unit is hand-assembled, individually tested, and covered by a 3-year limited warranty (excluding tubes).
