The Conrad Johnson ART300 is a single-ended valve mono power amplifier designed for audiophiles seeking high power and musical fidelity. It delivers 300 watts RMS from 30 Hz to 15 kHz into 4 ohms at no more than 1.5% total harmonic distortion. The amplifier uses a tube complement of 2 x 6922 and 4 x KT150 tubes, with matched quads required for output tubes. It features a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz ±0.25 dB, input impedance of 100 kOhms, and a sensitivity of 1.0 V RMS to rated power. The ART300 is known for its unflinching accuracy, superb transient control, and exceptional soundstaging with great depth and layering of instruments. It weighs 73 lbs and measures 16.3125" deep, 19" wide, and 8.75" high. The amplifier is hand-assembled with precision components including laser-trimmed metal foil resistors, Teflon dielectric capacitors, and proprietary wide-bandwidth output transformers. It comes with a 3-year limited warranty (excluding tubes) and is built to last with meticulous attention to sonic performance and reliability. Only 125 units were produced, making it a rare and highly regarded piece of HiFi equipment.
