About the ART150

The Conrad-Johnson ART150 is a limited-edition, single-ended vacuum-tube stereo power amplifier introduced for Conrad-Johnson’s 40th anniversary. It uses a simple three-stage circuit comprising a single-triode voltage-gain stage, a cathode-coupled phase inverter, and a KT150 output stage. One matched pair of KT150 output tubes is used per channel, producing 150 watts per channel. The amplifier employs approximately 12 dB of loop negative feedback, separate regulated power supplies for the input and phase-inverter stages, LED-assisted user bias adjustment, and single-ended RCA connectivity. Production was limited to 250 units. The official owner’s manual and manufacturer information identify the ART150 as a specialized limited-production model; it is no longer listed as a current production amplifier and should be regarded as discontinued, although service and documentation may remain available.
