The Concert Fidelity ZL-120V2SE is the Special Edition upgrade of the ZL-120V2 monoblock amplifier, combining the original's minimalist audio circuitry with a massively upgraded power supply derived from the ZL-200 model. It employs buffers and Class-A stages driving push-pull Class AB output stages with hand-matched parallel pairs of MOSFETs in a bridged-tied load (BTL) configuration. Key improvements include newly developed power transformers delivering double the current and 50% increased power supply capacitance, resulting in more powerful bass, superior macro-dynamics, and better control of demanding loudspeakers while preserving high speed, delicacy, and micro-dynamics. Originally introduced around 2012 and showcased at audio shows with high praise for its performance driving premium speakers like Estelon models, it is now listed on used markets, indicating it may no longer be in active production.
