The Coincident Statement Line Stage Mk III is an award-winning, transformer-based tube line stage preamplifier that offers the purest and most transparent active preamplification. It features state-of-the-art 33-step volume potentiometers with fine 0.35 dB gradations, improved volume transformers, and a power supply with 40% higher voltage capacitors and closely matched resistors and capacitors. The signal path uses transformer-based mono volume pots, transformer input, 101D directly heated triode tubes for gain, and output transformers, providing optimal sonics in both balanced and single-ended modes without added components in the signal path. The separate power supply weighs over 18.5 kilos and includes independent transformers for high voltage and filament supplies, with high-quality polypropylene capacitors and large capacity filtering. The entire line stage weighs over 41 lbs and is built with high-grade polished stainless steel chassis for sonic and durability benefits. It is designed to be a straight wire with gain, synthesizing the advantages of passive preamps with active line stage benefits, delivering noiseless, uncolored sound that faithfully reproduces music as created. The unit has two inputs (balanced XLR and single-ended RCA) with an optional third RCA input available, no remote control, and manual volume adjustment for each channel.
