About the Statement Line Stage

The Coincident Statement Line Stage is designed to be the purest, most transparent active preamplifier available, combining the advantages of passive preamps with active gain and no compromise. It uses 101D directly heated triode tubes, recognized as the most linear amplifying devices, and is fully transformer coupled from input through volume control to output, with no capacitors in the signal path. The unit features a separate power supply weighing over 41 lbs with independent transformers for high voltage and filament supplies, large capacity filtering, and high-quality polypropylene capacitors for noise-free operation. The volume control uses state-of-the-art 33-step transformer-based mono volume potentiometers with fine 0.35 dB gradations. The design provides noiseless, hum-free operation with no discernible signal alteration, delivering a dynamic, tonally gorgeous, and quiet musical picture with deep, extended bass and excellent imaging and transparency. The chassis is polished stainless steel, non-magnetic to reduce electromagnetic interference. It has two inputs and two outputs, switchable between RCA and XLR, and weighs about 30.8 lbs for the line stage and 18.5 kg for the power supply.
