The Coincident Speaker Technology 211PP Dragon Mk II is a vacuum tube monoblock power amplifier rated at 75 watts per channel in triode, push-pull Class A operation. It uses a tube complement of one 6EM7 input/driver tube, one 300B driver tube, and two 211 directly heated triode output tubes per channel. The amplifier provides 8Ω and 16Ω output taps on high-purity 6N copper binding posts, has 1V input sensitivity, and 100 kΩ input impedance via unbalanced RCA inputs. Frequency response is specified as 20 Hz–20 kHz ±1 dB, with THD <1% at rated power and signal-to-noise ratio >90 dB. The Mk II revision incorporates dual power transformers for lower noise and cooler operation, an enlarged and significantly stiffened stainless-steel chassis with a high-gloss chrome/mirror finish for reduced resonance, and increased power-supply capacitance. The design employs high-quality interstage and output transformers and a massive high-voltage power supply that uses polypropylene capacitors in the signal-critical sections to avoid electrolytics. Each amplifier is meticulously hand-wired using Coincident's Statement-grade cabling, and many units include a high-quality discrete resistor volume potentiometer, allowing direct connection of a CD player or DAC without a separate linestage. Dimensions are approximately 11.5" W × 20.5" D × 10" H, and net weight is about 85 lbs (≈38.5 kg) per monoblock. AC mains are user-selectable 115V or 230V, 50/60 Hz, via an internal voltage-selection provision.
