The Coincident Speaker Technology Dragon Mk 2 monoblock amplifier delivers 75 watts RMS (300 watts peak) in triode push-pull Class A operation. It uses a tube complement of one 6EM7 input tube, one 300B driver tube, and dual 211 Shuguang Pevane output tubes per channel. The design features dual power transformers for low noise and cool operation, 6N copper interstage and output transformers, and a massive power supply with 1500V polypropylene capacitors, avoiding electrolytics. The amplifier is meticulously hand-wired with Coincident Statement cable and includes an auto bias circuit to maintain optimal tube bias as tubes age. It offers tight, punchy bass, wide dynamic gradations, airy and extended highs, and harmonic completeness rivaling the finest 300B single-ended triodes. The chassis is made of high-gauge stainless steel with a mirror finish, enlarged and reinforced for rigidity and reduced resonance. Binding posts are 6N copper solid posts. The amp can be directly connected to a CD player without a line stage due to a high-quality discrete resistor potentiometer. Dimensions are approximately 11.5" W x 20.5" D x 10" H, weighing about 85-90 lbs. It operates on user-selectable 115V or 230V AC at 50/60 Hz.
